Talented juniors who have demonstrated academic excellence,
strong moral character and a desire to achieve are eligible to apply. EOSports provides financial support for competitions,
equipment and training. Recipients are selected according to merit on their
competitive record, academic record, qualities of leadership,
extracurricular accomplishments, motivation to achieve their intended goals,
and with regard to financial need. Financial support for each athlete varies
and is determined by qualification criteria.
EOSports is funded primarily through contributions from individuals and
contributions may be directed to a specific athlete or left to our
discretion. EOSports encourages an association between sponsors and athletes
and potential contributors are invited to meet the athletes and observe
their training. EOSports has been granted tax exempt status under Section
501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions are deductible to
the maximum extent allowed by law. Donations should be directed to Education
Outbound/Sports and gifts of $10,000 or more may name an annual scholarship
to honor a specific individual or company.
